Great Documentary

I watched this amazing documentary, Hip-Hop: Beyond Beats and Rhymes, by Byron Hurt, on Independent Lens (PBS) last night! It's on hip-hop culture and the prevailing definitions of manhood that have emerged over the past couple of hip-hop decades. This is a powerful film. Earlier last night at Robert & Emerson's, some of us were talking about having some sort of Missio Dei film series/film festival soon. I hope we can add this one to the list.
